Hola !!
Let me tell you about this last week diving at the Cabo Pulmo Marine Park, it was very exiting !!, we were diving at the Profundo Reef wich is about 100 feet the deepest, this reef it’s by the drop off ,wich is very closed in to the San Andres Fault Trench and it’s very long but a little too deep for coral to grow , but it has a few different kinds of tiny corals like the cup corals, soft corals like Sea Fans, Orange Sponges, and the most spectacular it’s the varieties of fish, such as The Big Dog Snapper, and it’s a home for the Nurse Sharks and in this last week we saw some nice size “Cornudas “ locally name by Fisherman around this area well known in the Sea of Cortez like Hammerhead Sharks !!, yes they’re around , they’re usually migrate in this time of the year, and about 10 years ago when I just came in to Cabo Pulmo I never saw one single one underwater, only in local fisherman boats, but in the last couple of years they’re starting to come in, perhaps because locals do not fish for them anymore or who knows maybe they’re sore of like it around here because the amount of Bat Rays there is around here, they’re so many you can not even count them !!!, and also there is so many kinds of other pelagics like Sierras , Amber Jacks and Yellow Fin Tunas !!
Maybe they’re all here enjoying this mild weather we have ?
It seems like they’re all coming in at once!! It may be because Santa Claus it’s coming in or what do you think ?

Surface Temperature : 76 Degrees
Bottom Temperature : 75 Degrees
Underwater Visibility : 60 feet
Sea Conditions : Nice and Calm a little of bite of current from the south.
High Lights : Hammerheads, Amber Jacks, Bat Rays !!!

Cabo Pulmo Park Report :
Finnally after all my letters to the Mexican Government they’re show up to the Cabo Pulmo community to set up a Inspection Committee for the protection for this beautiful Park , at least it’s a started !!! have a great weekend !!
