Whale Shark on Site !!!!!

Hey u doing !!

Yes it’s been very active the diving down here !!!
It’s nice to dive without a wet suit that’s for sure, with cristal clear water, lots of marine life, but we are still looking for that Señor “Big”, you know some time ago there was a whale shark in our bay , and you know we have three coral reefs that they’re start from the beach, so one morning we were going in to our regular morning tour, and a big sorprise there it was, Señor ‘Big’ waiting for us !!, it was about 30 feet long, and it was just about 100 yds from our beach, just swimming around, so we approach it and we glently swim with it, it had a few fish around it, as well as a couple of sucker fish, it was just the biggest treat any diver could ask for !!
So we swam with it until we say ok ? now let’s go diving eh?,
So we did and we came back and our friend was still swimming around here so I starting to worry, and I told my dive buddies, you know this guy is in trouble !! and sure it was, as we were looking at him, the tide was going down, and Señor “big”was still swimming in circles, so in one of those circles swimming, he went through the small channel there is across the first reef, and a big wave came by and it put it righ on top of the reef !! Plash !! so our friend was upsidedown on top of the reef ( hey this is a Marine Park he was not suppost to touch the coral eh?) so luckly we were there!! But do we have any kind of experienced for the this kind of accidents ? no but oh well…, and inmediately we get in in the water and got closed in to the reef and tried to figure out what to do ?, so with my boat ancle line we tied it to his tail, and we tried to pulled it down but it was too heavy ( of course !! ) so we need it more help, and some of the local guys came with another boat and they attached another rope around it, and we both then waited for a wave to come, and as soon the wave came,we both pulled it down !!, so we would’nt hurt him, so we did it and finnally came in and a big splash !! in to the water !! and Señor “Big” started to swim away !!, so as soon as it got in the water a few of us jumped in to attached the rope around it’s body , one line from his righ side and the other one from the left side, so it could not swim in the wrong direction anymore, and we slowly took him away from the dangerous reef !! and it took us a few minutes to have him returned to his path again, but it lived !!
The whole town was there to share such a wonderfull experienced!!, even the lady’s that make the tortillas and all the kids !!.

Cabo Pulmo Marine Park Report by Pepe’s Foundation
This last week I submitted a report the the environmental protection agency they can have control on this guys ( commercial fisherman at Los Frailes Bay) , they’re fishing inside the boundaries from the Park, and there is not control, we have not a Park Ranger on site so they are fishing inside the Park, I have found all kinds of fishing line on the coral heads, we’ll see what happens.Urgently !!!

Ok amigos until the next time !!!
